Message from the Rector
Christ is risen; He is risen indeed, Alleluia, Alleluia! We celebrate this joyous and important event in the Church’s calendar by giving praise to God, for bringing back to life our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the King of heaven and earth.
Our Lord Jesus’ earthly ministry can be divided into two parts between his work in the northern region of Galilee and his ministry south of the county in Judea. In the north, we hear the Lord’s teaching in the form of the beatitudes, ‘Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven’ (Matthew 5v3), in the Sermon on the Mount, one of the enduring sites in the Holy Land.
